ART/CRAFT VENDOR GUIDELINES FOR JURY REVIEW

Thank you for requesting information about the 12th Annual Sherburne Arts Festival, an outdoor event, which will be held on June 14, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The show will take place in Sherburne’s Gaines Park, located on Route 80 East next to the Sherburne Public Library.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN THE 2024 ARTS FESTIVAL, YOU MAY BYPASS JURY REVIEW. GO TO SHOW APPLICATION & SUBMIT PAYMENT.

Please note that there is a $10 jury fee, payable at the time of submission to jury committee (see PAYPAL button).

Guidelines

  • The show is seeking artists and crafters who create or sell original, handcrafted products.
  • Direct sales representatives are not eligible to participate.
  • Work displayed must be consistent with information provided in this form.
  • Booths may not be shared.
  • Vendors will be required to provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and all other booth needs.
  • Park surfaces may not be totally level, so please bring your own leveling devices.
  • Tents should be staked and/or weighted.
  • Vendors are required to collect and pay New York State sales tax.
  • Booth space will be 12’x12’ for 10’x10’ pop-up tent. Larger spaces can be requested.
  • Cost for vendor-owned 10’x10’ tent (within 12’x12’ space) is $50; Larger spaces are $75.
  • Vendors must be set up by 9:30 a.m. on June 14. Information about setting up on Friday, June 13, will be included in the show application.
  • There is no packing up until the event is over at 4:00 p.m.
  • The festival will be held rain or shine. There are no refunds.
  • Jury applications are due ASAP. Results of final jury review will be sent out to artists/crafters within 30 days of submission.
  • Show application should not be completed and submitted on this site until the artist’s approval by the jury committee.
  • Applications completed before jury approval will be rejected and payment will NOT be refunded.

Jury Process

  • Jury applications will be reviewed with acceptance letters emailed following review.
  • Jury applications will be judged by the jury committee on specific criteria, which includes the jury form and photos submitted.
  • Care will be taken to accept various media and products to avoid concentration of one type.

Photos

  • Three digital images are required, to include one image of your booth set-up.
  • Photos should be in working JEPG format.
  • When emailing photos, include your last name and PHOTO REVIEW on the email subject line.
